New Tools and Approaches to Support Decision-Making in Inhalation Toxicology WORKSHOP

New Tools and Approaches to Support Decision-Making in Inhalation Toxicology

Thursday, May 23, 2024 | 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (US Pacific Time Zone)
Coastal Hearing Room | CalEPA Headquarters Building | 1001 I St. | Sacramento, CA 95814

Join the California EPA Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) and the Texas A&M Superfund Research Center to explore the use of new approach methodologies in inhalation toxicology and air toxics risk assessment.

The workshop will focus on read-across methods and high-throughput tests to support decision-making for air toxics that lack traditional assessments.

Speakers and panelists: Lauren Zeise (OEHHA), Ivan Rusyn (Texas A&M), Kannan Krishnan (OEHHA), David Dorman (NCSU), Allison Phillips (US EPA), Sylvia Escher (FITEM, Hannover), Jennifer Sass (NRDC), James Armitage (AES Inc., Ottawa), Xiaoqing Chang (Inotiv), Weihsueh Chiu (Texas A&M), and Anatoly Soshilov (OEHHA)
