Toxicokinetic Tools for Decision Making Using New Approach Methodologies
Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 | 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (U.S. Pacific Time Zone)
Coastal Hearing Room, CalEPA Headquarters Building | 1001 I St. | Sacramento, CA 95814
The California EPA Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) and Texas A&M Superfund Research Center explored the use of toxicokinetics in applying new approach methodologies to chemical assessments.
The workshop focused on read-across methods and high-throughput tests for accelerating the evaluation of chemicals that lack traditional assessments.
Speakers and panelists: Lauren Zeise (CalEPA OEHHA), Weihsueh Chiu (Texas A&M), Grace Patlewicz (U.S. EPA), Nicholas Ball (Dow Chemical), Ivan Rusyn (Texas A&M), Alistair Middleton (Unilever), John Wambaugh (U.S. EPA), Tracey Woodruff (UC-San Francisco), and Kannan Krishnan (CalEPA OEHHA)
